Haodaikirio Home Stay Operator Steven Misiosi Thanks Tourism Solomon Islands for Successful Summit on Expanding Tourism Market

Steven Misiosi, a young operator of Haodaikirio Home Stay in Central Kwara’ae, Malaita Province, expressed his gratitude to Tourism Solomon Islands for the successful "Tourism in Focus 2025: Expanding the Market Approach" summit held earlier this week in Honiara.

Misiosi attended the summit on February 18, 2025, at the Solomon Kitano Mendana Hotel. He felt honored to be part of this event aimed at expanding the tourism market.

During the sessions, he shared his experiences, achievements, and the challenges he has faced as a new operator in the tourism sector. 

He noted, “The gathering brought together important leaders, operators, and stakeholders in the tourism industry. It was an insightful and informative event that focused on boosting collaboration across different sectors. As we work towards a more unified industry, the summit highlighted our shared goal of promoting growth in tourism in the Solomon Islands.”

Misiosi also expressed his hope for more collaboration among tourist operators in Malaita and with the provincial government to enhance the tourism industry in the Solomon Islands.
