KAMROS Football Clubs Receive Grass-Cutting Machines from Hon Maenu.

The KAMROS Community and Football Club in Mbaelelea North Malaita received two grass-cutting machines from Honorable Ben Maenu'u yesterday. Today, the Falau Football Club also got their own machine from him, and both clubs are very thankful for this support. This is the first time they have received such important help.

For many years, young athletes have had a hard time keeping their training fields clean. They had to use bush knives to cut the tall grass, which was very tiring. This hard work made it difficult for some players to continue training. Now, with these new machines, both clubs are excited that taking care of the fields will be much easier, allowing them to spend more time training and improving their skills.

The managers of both teams also shared their appreciation for Honorable Ben Maenu’s kindness. They look forward to working with him in the future to promote football in their area. They hope to connect with the Lau Baelelea Honorables Club this year to create more opportunities for their players.

In a statement, Honorable Ben Maenu said he is committed to helping young people in Lau and Baelelea. He believes that sports can be a good way for youth to avoid bad habits. He wants to encourage talented young people to play sports and stay away from drugs like marijuana and kwaso. He expressed a strong desire to support sports in the Lau Baelelea Constituency (LBC) and will continue to help young athletes in North Malaita.

This month Hon Ben Maenu also supported other communities within his constituency with some much needed help and support worth of material.
