Kava Farmers in Malaita Praised Bulkshop for Opening it's Market door in Auki.

Farmers in Malaita have expressed their gratitude towards Bulkshop for opening its market doors in Auki, Malaita Province in September. John Kiriau, a Kava farmer in West Kwaraae, shared his appreciation with Malaita Issues saying, "I wish to thanked Bulkshop Company for the great initiative to open their market here in Auki which makes it easy for us farmers with less expenses compared to the past years where we have to travel to Honiara to sell our dried Kava."

Philip Subu, President of Malaita Youth Council, also thanked Bulkshop Company and its owners on behalf of his farmers in the interior highlands of Central Kwaraae, stating, "Thank you Bulkshop for supporting and reaching our kava farmers." He further mentioned receiving positive feedback from his home village in the highlands about the injection of cash into the rural economy.

It is evident that Malaita's rural population is heavily involved in Kava farming, with marketing being a major challenge. Subu emphasized the importance of farmers adhering to the marketing requirements set by the buyer to ensure the success of their agricultural endeavors.
