Speaking to Malaita Issues, Gabriel Riotarau, a key organizer of the event, expressed his satisfaction with the tournament's turnout, stating, "A total of 24 soccer teams in West Are'are participated in the competition, which showcased incredible talent and sportsmanship."

Masiu 1 FC claimed victory, taking home a trophy along with a cash prize of $2,000. Kinapa FC finished in second place, earning $1,500, while St. Stephen secured third place with a cash award of $1,000. Masiu Oldies rounded out the top four, receiving $700.

In addition to team awards, individual accolades were distributed. Reginald Watemae of Masiu 1 FC was honored with the Golden Glove for his exceptional goalkeeping skills. Cleophas Oriana from St. Stephen was recognized with the Golden Boot for being the tournament's top scorer, and Michael H from St. Mark received the Golden Ball for his outstanding performance throughout the competition.

Riotarau extended his gratitude to the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), led by Timothy Maearasia, a former goalkeeper for the Senior National Soccer team, for their hard work and dedication in successfully orchestrating the event.

Looking ahead, organizers announced plans for two upcoming tournaments at the KIU Maasina Sports Ground: the Independence Cup, scheduled for July 2024, and the West Are’are Christmas Cup 2025, set to take place in the last week of December 2025.
