OFC/MA Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate Delivered in Malu'u Malaita Province.

The OFC/Member Association (MA) Introduction to Goalkeeping Coaching Certificate was successfully conducted in Malu'u Malaita Province, facilitated by Goalkeeping Development Coach Philip Mango and Coach Peter Erick under the SIFF Technical Department.

The two-day course included both theory and practical sessions, with participants grouped and assigned specific goalkeeping topics. During the practical sessions, participants had the opportunity to create session plans on various goalkeeping topics, allowing for hands-on learning and coaching development.

A total of 35 participants attended the course, which took place at Sanoeto Inn Homestay for theory sessions and the Arnon Atomea PSS Sports Field for practical training. Participants included members of the Maluu School of Excellence Program, as well as representatives from clubs in wards 6, 8, and 9 from the Lau Baelelea and North Malaita constituencies.

Malu'u School of Excellence wish to express its sincere gratitude to Arnon Atomea PSS School for generously providing the necessary facilities for the program, including the sports field, classrooms, and school hall, since the program's commencement in August 2024.
